FARAJ, a Gujarati word meaning ‘Duty’, is an NGO registered as a public charitable trust based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Established in June 2002, the organization works closely with children, women, and the elderly. Its key focus areas include livelihood and skill development, health and education rights, and community development initiatives. FARAJ provides scholarships to underprivileged children, supports differently abled children in leading dignified and fulfilling lives.

Water conservation is a core commitment of FARAJ. The organization has created more than 32 rainwater recharge bores and maintaining the same, ensuring that rainwater returns to the earth—protecting groundwater reserves and securing water resources for the generations that will inherit tomorrow.

The Trust is registered under IT act 1961, 80G(5) with number : E/15357/Ahmedabad. So the donation given to this trust is exempted under this section.
